I'm in the midst of exams at the moment so not much to report I'm afraid... I heard back from the grant-making trust I applied to and they are very kindly going to send me £300, I just have to fill in some kind of acceptance form or something beforehand, so that's all good- I should be really nearly there now! Of course I've still got to pay for things like kit, jabs, my visa etc, so will be attempting to flog various things (some donated by very nice people!) at car boot sales once my exams are over.

And then on the 29th of June I shall be making my way up to Coll for the second time, for a 5-day training course which I'm really looking forward to! It's going to be quite intense by the sound of it (although it probably has to be- trying to fit a year's worth of information, advice and teaching tips into 5 days!) but will be a great opportunity to meet up with other PT volunteers (including some I met on selection) and, excitingly, MY PARTNER! There'll also be the traditional Project Trust ceilidh on the final night, a chance to dust off my dancing shoes- it's about a month and a half since our ceilidh... how the time flies!

Anyway, all's going well and once my exams are over then the countdown can truly begin! My blog appears to be getting quite a lot of attention from the USA which is pretty cool, although I have no idea who those people might be- I don't know anyone in the US (I think...) so if you are one of them then feel free to drop me a line and let me know how you found my blog!
