I had a stall at my college's christmas book fair yesterday and raised a brilliant £175! I sold cards, bookmarks, candles and various cakes and sweets, which all went down really well. There happened to be a journalist there who spoke to me and it turns out that he works for 2 local newspapers so my story should be in both by the new year! The organisers of the fair have also kindly allowed me to have a stall at the next event, which is a table-top sale in February so that will be another opportunity to sell things.

In keeping with the christmas fair theme, I noticed that a church near me is holding a fair next Saturday, so I've sent them an email asking if it would be possible to have a stall there. I've still got some more cards and bookmarks to sell and I'm hoping to have a go at making bath salts and soap! So, fingers crossed!

Don't forget to sign up to easy fundraising if you do any online shopping at all- it's a great idea and will make a real difference to my fundraising. www.easyfundraising.org.uk

Thanks!
